Statement of Professional Engagement:

Dr. Alexis Norris’s research interests are focused around crime/violence prevention programs, juvenile justice, restorative justice, and program evaluation. Additionally, Dr. Norris incorporates a risk and decision-making framework into her research in order to examine how individuals involved in the criminal justice system perceive risk and make decisions within certain context. Prior to joining CSUSB, Dr. Norris worked on the evaluation of a number of crime prevention programs in Flint, Detroit, and Lansing, Michigan.
